Opening of the New “TK V” Nitric Acid Installation
dodano: 2010-10-14Opening of the new “TK V” nitric acid installation was celebrated in ZAK S.A. on 8 October 2010. The representatives of the Polish and Czech governments, local, provincial and municipal authorities, as well as guests from partner chemical companies, including contractors and subcontractors, participated in the official ceremony.
The first part of the event took place at the site of the modern installation. The ribbon was cut by the Deputy Minister of the State Treasury Mr Adam Leszkiewicz, President of ZAK S.A. Management Board Mr Krzysztof Jałosiński and President of Chemoprojekt a.s. Mr Tomas Plachy. In his speech, the Deputy Minister Adam Leszkiewicz emphasised, that the investment was completed during a difficult period. “The world economy did everything to complicate the investment process. The more merit goes to all those involved in the project.” After the speeches, guests were invited to a tour of the Acid V Installation and another, equally important new investment – Water Treatment Station.
During the second part of the celebration, which took place at the Centralny Hotel, the invited guests saw a photographic exhibition entitled “TKV in the Camera Eye,” which illustrated different stages of the new installation construction process. The representatives of the media were invited to a brief press conference. Afterwards, the persons and companies, who particularly supported the effective completion of the investment, were presented with special statuettes.
During the celebration, the speech of Professor Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament was broadcast. Professor Buzek congratulated the Company Management and declared his support for completion of the coal gasification project.
